Our Story
How CoSy-Tec came to be.
CoSy-Tec GmbH was founded because AV technology in practice is often more complicated than it needs to be — too many systems, too little thought. The goal from the start: plan and build systems that truly work, even when nobody is standing next to them.
From daily work on control systems, event technology and digital signage, proprietary products were born — because off-the-shelf products don't always meet the requirement. cosy-hub, cosy-clix and cosy-knax were developed in the field, not on a drawing board.
Today CoSy-Tec accompanies projects from the first idea through to ongoing operation — in Switzerland and beyond.

Founder & Managing Director
David Schmucki
Founder · Church Musician · Engineer
David Schmucki is a qualified church musician — pianist and organist with over 35 years of active musical experience. This hands-on engagement with acoustics, room sound and stage technology forms the foundation for his technical work: he understands not only how systems are built, but how they must feel in practice.
As a qualified electrical engineer (HF) and AV systems integrator since 2012, he founded CoSy-Tec GmbH to build systems that truly work — not just at handover, but in daily operation for years to come. He leads projects from concept to commissioning, develops proprietary products and writes code himself.
